How to get started with HubSpot
Connect your HubSpot account to Zigpoll and automatically create deals from survey responses. Each response generates a new deal in your chosen HubSpot pipeline, complete with the survey title, participant info, and all submitted answers. If the respondent provides an email address, Zigpoll will also find or create a contact and associate it with the deal.
Step #1: Connect your HubSpot Account
In Zigpoll: Click Settings -> Manage Integrations -> Enable the HubSpot Integration.
Click "Click to Connect" to authorize Zigpoll with your HubSpot account.
You will be redirected to HubSpot to grant access. Once approved, you'll return to Zigpoll automatically.
Step #2: Configure Deal Creation
Select a Survey — Choose which survey should trigger deal creation, or select "All Surveys" to create deals for every survey response.
Select a Pipeline — Pick the HubSpot pipeline where deals should be created.
Step #3: Configure Deal Creation Rules
Choose when deals should be created:
Create a deal if the survey is partially completed — A deal is created for every response, even if the survey is not fully completed.
Create a deal only if the survey is fully completed — Deals are only created once the participant finishes the entire survey.
Create a deal only if the respondent submitted an email address — Deals are only created when the participant provides an email.
Create a deal only if an open-ended response is submitted — Deals are only created when the participant writes a free-text answer.
Step #4: Save Changes
Click "Save Changes" to activate the integration.
That's it. Zigpoll will now create a new deal in your selected HubSpot pipeline each time a matching survey response is submitted. The deal will include the survey name, participant details, and all responses.
Contact Association
When a respondent provides an email address, Zigpoll will automatically search for an existing HubSpot contact with that email. If one is found, the new deal is associated with that contact. If no contact exists, Zigpoll creates one and associates it with the deal.
Multiple Pipelines
You can add multiple configurations to route different surveys to different HubSpot pipelines. Click "Click here to add another pipeline" to add additional entries. Each configuration has its own survey filter, pipeline destination, and deal creation rules.
Token Refresh
HubSpot access tokens expire after 30 minutes. Zigpoll automatically refreshes your token when needed, so you don't need to re-authorize.
