Activating Zigpoll on Shopify 2.0

Stores using an Online Store 2.0 theme load Zigpoll through an app embed instead of a script tag. Switch on the Zigpoll app embed in your theme, and your storefront surveys are ready to go.

To enable the app embed on your store, follow the steps below:

1. Install the Zigpoll App via the Shopify App Store.

2. In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes.

3. Click Customize for your live theme.

4. Click the App embeds icon on the left-hand side.

5. Enable Zigpoll.

6. Click Save.

The app embed is switched on per theme. If you publish a new theme or a copy of your theme, switch on the Zigpoll app embed in that theme too.

The app embed runs storefront surveys: pop-ups, launchers, page embeds and exit intent. It doesn't reach the Thank You, Order Status or checkout pages. Those need the Zigpoll app block, which is a separate install:

Older installs loaded Zigpoll through a script tag. Shopify turns script tags off on March 1, 2027, so switch the app embed on even if your surveys show today. If your store still has the script tag, the Theme app embed card on Zigpoll's Installation page says so.
